The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is a leading healthcare nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the mission to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. We are seeking a highly skilled Investments Associate to join our mission-driven team and contribute to the management of our $4.6 billion endowment.
This role will involve formulating the investment strategy, underwriting, and investing in new opportunities, as well as managing the investment portfolio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to have a material impact on the Foundation's actively managed portfolio and will be mentored by a small, collaborative, and experienced investment team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of investment work-related experience and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A master's degree or CFA designation is beneficial. The candidate should have experience building a sourcing network for new investment opportunities and conducting investment due diligence on direct investments, co-investments, and investment funds.
The Investments Associate will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities and investments across the globe and all asset classes, as well as preparing and presenting investment analyses and recommendations to the internal team and Investment Committee of the Board.
The successful candidate will be able to synthesize information from various sources, critically evaluate alternative approaches, and prepare well-written, well-organized material and present recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
