Team Responsibilities:

The Tax team is responsible for evaluating and supporting the activities, operations, reporting obligations, and transactions of the firm's business lines to ensure proper assessment of tax implications and reputational risks. This role is ideal for individuals who possess creativity, collaboration skills, strong ethical standards, and a keen attention to detail.

The team ensures the firm's compliance with global reporting authorities and addresses inquiries from various business sectors across both established and emerging markets. Daily responsibilities include accurate and timely account documentation, monitoring, client information reporting, and regulatory submissions. The team also offers essential subject matter expertise and support during the structuring, testing, and implementation of related systems and processes. By effectively utilizing data analytics and technology, the team seeks opportunities to improve procedures and enhance scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-regional teams to drive initiatives and resolve challenges.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of relevant tax systems, processes, and requirements.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of various business lines within the firm, providing broad exposure to different divisions and groups.
  • Employ an analytical mindset to identify control weaknesses, mitigate risks, enhance client experiences, and promote process automation.
  • Act as a risk overseer by continuously monitoring the tax regulatory landscape and ensuring the firm's compliance with tax reporting obligations.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree with over 6 years of relevant experience in Operations, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, including leadership of teams and projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Proven leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to influence, build consensus, and manage stakeholders at senior and executive levels.
  • A successful track record in managing project deliveries, including strong analytical and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within project teams to assess the implications of potential solutions across processes, costs, and risks.
  • Experience working across products, regions, and functions, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Strong people management skills, influencing key stakeholders beyond direct control.
  • Capacity to remain calm under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Operations processes and procedures, with a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Experience in establishing JIRA boards and leading steering committee and scrum meetings.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Microsoft Office Suite, and BPM tools.

Compensation:
