Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of practice of the RDN role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing nutrition plans for clients
- Compiling information and tracking client progress towards their health goals
- Entering patient information into the system
- Speaking to patients to learn about their health goals and dietary needs, preferences, and restrictions
- Speaking to groups to promote healthy eating habits and proper nutrition
Requirements:
- Must be registered with CDR and Licensed in the state of Connecticut
- Experience preferred but will accept new graduates
- BLS and ACLS certification
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) knowledge
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong technical skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of Cerner experience
- COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster
