Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong focus on Building Projects to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will work closely with colleagues to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact closely with mechanical, civil, structural engineers, and project architects to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Function as lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects, overseeing all phases from proposal to construction.
  • Perform code reviews and delegate project tasks to junior team members.
  • Meet with external and internal clients to discuss project progress and requirements.
  • Conduct building condition assessment reports and provide expert advice on electrical systems.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience working at an A/E consulting firm.
  • New York State Professional Engineer's license is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
  • Experience in electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, and utilities, as well as communications, security, and fire alarm systems is desired.

  • A competitive salary range of $100,000 - $130,000, influenced by relevant experience, education, and work location.
