Job Summary
The Investment Accounting Manager at Century Group oversees financial reporting and accounting processes related to client investments. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory and GAAP reporting requirements. The expected salary range for this position is $121,500 to $175,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all investment accounting functions are performed in compliance with regulatory and GAAP reporting requirements.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals responsible for investment accounting activities, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Manage new, complex investments and transactions to ensure proper recording within accounting systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to align investment accounting activities with overall organizational objectives.
- Analyze investment performance metrics and trends, providing insights to senior management regarding the investment portfolio's performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in public accounting or industry with an investment accounting role.
- Experience working in SOC-1, SOX, or NAIC regulated environments.
- Advanced knowledge of all investment types, especially structured securities.
