Supply Chain Counselor

Leverage your legal expertise to support the Global Supply Chain function at Lockheed Martin Corporation. This role involves advising on matters related to direct and indirect procurement, subcontracts, logistics, supplier negotiations, and disputes.
In this position, you will work closely with senior executives to provide counsel on complex supply chain administration and diligence matters. Your ability to communicate concisely and precisely will be essential in driving projects to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to government contracts and federal procurement. Experience working in an in-house legal department with global clients is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Advise the Global Supply Chain function on matters related to direct and indirect procurement, subcontracts, logistics, supplier negotiations, and disputes.
- Provide counsel to senior executives on complex supply chain administration and diligence matters.
- Communicate effectively with internal business partners and stakeholders across client teams.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various types of commercial agreements, including licensing and information subscription agreements.
- Consult on legal and regulatory considerations in supply chain process, practices, and procedure development.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Juris Doctorate and admission to practice law in at least one state.
- At least 5-7 years of relevant functional experience, including matters relating to supply chain compliance considerations.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to government contracts and federal procurement.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, assume ownership of issues, and drive projects to completion.
