Luminator Technology Group, a global leader in technology solutions for public transit operations, seeks an experienced Field Service Maintenance Professional to join our dynamic Field Operations team.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description

As a Field Service Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for conducting customer service visits, documenting day-to-day repair and preventative maintenance for various transit agencies and clients. You will identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, work with manufacturers or field personnel as necessary to procure replacement parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Luminator's hardware and software, handle customer questions about system status.
  • Sustain proficiency in all products and services offered, including installation standard methodologies, equipment protocol, and safety guidelines.
  • Provide on-site pre-start-up, start-up, contracted service work, warranty, troubleshooting, and training of Luminator products, ensuring equipment is operational and free of defects.
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions on equipment.
  • Accurately document work performed at customer facilities, professionally documenting preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Handle customer service-related issues, fostering customer relationships and solving technical problems on site.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, applying technical knowledge and experience to resolve problems.
  • Document processes, operate vehicles safely, and use field systems appropriately.
  • Follow company protocols and procedures, cooperate with technical teams, and share information across the organization.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess 2-4 years of technical experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and an AS degree or A+ certification. They will also have knowledge of business principles, customer service, and technical documentation.

  • Ability to take initiative, identify problems, conceptualize resolutions, and implement change with attention to detail.
  • Ability to review technical documents, confer with personnel, and prioritize projects to ensure deadlines are met.
