About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Specialist to join our team at Health Care and Rehabilitation Services. As a Residential Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals living with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges to develop the independent living skills and emotional regulation skills necessary to achieve their treatment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to clients in their daily lives, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
- Develop and implement personalized plans to address clients' unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Monitor and report on client progress, making adjustments to plans as needed.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges.
- A valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- A positive attitude, with a strong commitment to compassion, respect, and setting appropriate boundaries.
