Position Overview:

We are in search of a knowledgeable Litigation Paralegal to enhance our legal team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be integral to our litigation efforts, offering extensive support throughout various stages of the litigation process. A solid grasp of both pretrial and post-trial procedures is essential, along with the capacity to manage numerous responsibilities while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive litigation assistance, including drafting legal documents, managing discovery requests, and preparing for depositions and trials.
  • Conduct thorough legal research utilizing platforms such as Lexis and Westlaw.
  • Oversee and maintain the litigation calendar effectively.
  • Prepare and electronically file court documents, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and deadlines.
  • Review and interpret complex legal documents, and draft pre- and post-trial briefs.
  • Perform cite-checking and bluebooking to guarantee the accuracy of all legal submissions.
  • Coordinate trial preparation activities, including organizing evidence and preparing exhibits.
  • Utilize E-Discovery tools and systems for litigation support tasks.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is essential.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation support is necessary.
  • Proficiency in e-filing and legal research is required.
  • Experience with E-Discovery tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes is crucial.
  • Demonstrated ability in drafting legal documents and pleadings.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in legal document preparation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
