Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals at our CHR location in Atlanta. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to adults experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of client health problems and needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Nursing Care Delivery: Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients, providing education and support to promote health and well-being.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care plans, ensuring seamless care transitions and optimal client outcomes.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise support or lower-level staff, ensuring adequate staffing and providing guidance and support to promote a culture of excellence.
  • Quality Improvement: Monitor and evaluate client care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance client outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Current Georgia license to practice as a registered professional nurse, with a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience.
  • Clinical Skills: Ability to perform CPR/First Aid, with knowledge of nursing policies, procedures, protocols, treatments, standards of care, and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Medication Administration: Knowledge of medication administration procedures, including oral, sublingual, and IV medications, with a strong understanding of pharmacology.
