TJM Industries Inc is seeking experienced Human Resources Professionals/Managers to oversee HR functions within our manufacturing facilities.
Location: Central Pennsylvania, with all facilities conveniently located within a short commute.
Key Responsibilities for Managers:
- Direct the HR operations for multiple plants, ensuring effective staffing and talent acquisition.
- Foster positive Employee Relations, collaborating with both the workforce and leadership.
- Engage with management at all levels to enhance productivity, safety, quality, and employee satisfaction.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to our organizational needs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State labor laws and regulations.
- Establish training programs and initiatives aimed at improving employee retention and engagement.
- Oversee employee benefits administration and negotiate with brokers as necessary.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide comprehensive reports to the leadership team.
- Support Safety/OSHA compliance and manage Workers' Compensation processes.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience and 3-4 years of generalist experience.
- HR certifications such as PHR/SPHR are highly desirable.
- Detail-oriented and proactive approach is essential; candidates should be comfortable engaging directly with employees on the shop floor.
Compensation: Managerial roles offer competitive salaries based on plant size and employee count.
HR Generalist Positions: We currently have multiple openings across various locations.
Key Duties for HR Generalists:
- Maintain HRIS systems and manage recruitment processes.
- Facilitate onboarding for new hires and coordinate performance management activities.
- Track attendance and assist with payroll and benefits administration.
- Deliver training programs as needed.
Desired Experience and Education:
- A minimum of a 2-year degree is preferred; a 4-year degree is ideal.
- 2-4 years of generalist experience is required.
- Compensation for these roles ranges from $60,000 to $80,000, depending on experience and location.
