Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic procedures using state-of-the-art computerized tomography equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including routine and advanced imaging procedures, to provide high-quality images for patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Provide support to other imaging technologists as needed, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient use of resources.
  • Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements to maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Interact effectively with patients and all care providers to coordinate and prioritize procedures, ensuring a high level of patient care and continuity.
  • Assist radiologists in invasive and biopsy-type procedures using CT equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
  • Ensure exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked prior to exams, and maintain compliance with Infection Control standards.
  • Adapt to assigned patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate the unique needs of each patient served.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and maintain the confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent.
  • Associate's Degree in a related field of study.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and registered in CT.
