Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including routine and advanced imaging, to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Support other imaging technologists as needed and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and potential contraindications, and adhere to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Interact effectively with patients and care providers to coordinate and prioritize procedures, ensuring a high level of patient care and continuity.
  • Assist radiologists in invasive and biopsy procedures using CT equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with infection control standards.
  • Accurately code and enter charges for exams performed.
  • Adapt to assigned patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique patient needs.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to CHRISTUS Health's core values.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting required.
  • 3 years of CT experience in a clinical imaging setting preferred.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT.
  • Current state licensure and BLS certification required.

Work Schedule and Type:

TBD. Per Diem As Needed.
