Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist with a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy to support the educational success of our students. As a key member of our team, you will assess, diagnose, and provide individualized intervention services for students with communication disorders.

Position Overview
  • Job Title: School-Based Speech Language Pathologist
  • Location: Superior, WI
  • Type: Full-time

You will play a vital role in supporting students' speech and language development by assessing their abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct therapy services. You will also collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create a cohesive support system for students.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create a cohesive support system for students
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: In Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Licensure: Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience working with school-aged children and knowledge of special education processes
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Estimated Salary Range

$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
