About the Role:

Allied Resources Technical Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Designer to join our team. As a Senior Piping Designer, you will play a critical role in supporting all project activities throughout the project lifecycle for Midstream Pipeline and Petrochemical refinery projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage mechanical aspects of plant-based refining/chemical projects.
  • Review and develop calculations, equipment specifications, requisitions, P&IDs, and drawings.
  • Design and develop drawings for fabrication and construction of piping and equipment systems.
  • Design and select equipment for pumps, compressors, valves, heat exchangers, heaters, coolers, boilers, or pressure vessels.
  • Participate in procurement and operations specifications for equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with Project Management to scope work and apply man hours on a project.

Requirements:

  • Ability to collaborate with a growing team of Designers.
  • Experience in design in the Oil & Gas and Chemical sector, including plants, oil, cryogenic, natural gas, petrochemical, or power systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and CADWorx is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and co-workers.
