Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with various departments and personnel, demonstrating a thorough understanding of facility operations

  • Assist planners in scheduling and prioritizing maintenance tasks

  • Diagnose issues in systems and components using testing equipment and tools to identify root causes
  • Utilize sound judgment when troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, PLCs, electrical drives, and high-voltage systems, ensuring compliance with site voltage limits
  • Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance on machinery, mobile equipment, HVAC systems, PLC networks, and cranes
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and their functionalities
  • Document work performed, repairs made, and materials used
  • Execute maintenance tasks including repairs, adjustments, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Provide technical support to maintenance and production teams as required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
  • Utilize SAP maintenance modules and computer systems for information retrieval and documentation
  • Operate diagnostic tools such as digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic equipment
Qualifications
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and work at heights for extended periods
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in AC/DC troubleshooting is essential
  • Proficiency in electrical controls maintenance and repair
  • Familiarity with melting, casting, and rolling processes and associated equipment is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred
  • Experience with MRO systems, particularly SAP, is advantageous
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance principles, including hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Understanding of NFPA 70E standards is preferred
  • Experience with Siemens or other PLC troubleshooting is preferred
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical safety practices
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
Educational Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
