POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Senior Assembler/Tester, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of a range of moderately complex products, ensuring they meet customer quality standards and delivery timelines. Your responsibilities will include performing lockwiring and final detailing tasks as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute assembly and testing functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, as well as electronic testing equipment in a manufacturing setting.
  • Set up and calibrate testing equipment for various products to assess compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct thorough tests using both traditional and computerized data acquisition systems, interpreting and documenting results accurately.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify issues identified during testing, including diagnostic teardown and component evaluation.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies to ensure they conform to product specifications, adhering to industry standards.
  • Interpret technical documents such as blueprints and engineering orders to guide assembly and testing processes.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and reducing operational costs.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior team members.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated according to established schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in assembly and testing within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • A solid understanding of semi-complex products that involve both mechanical and electrical components.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and performing necessary calculations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • The ability to implement lean manufacturing principles effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Work Location: In-person
