As a Warehouse Security Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the physical security protocols at the distribution center's security desk and secured yard gatehouse. Your role will involve regulating access to the facility and truck yard for all personnel, guests, contractors, and transporters. Additionally, you will perform CCTV monitoring of the premises and adjacent trailer yard. In case of any incidents, you will liaise with local emergency responders as necessary.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and transporters to the facility or yard.
  • Verify and manage all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Conduct inspections of employees, visitors, and contractors to prevent theft.
  • Handle and redirect all incoming phone inquiries.
  • Perform CCTV surveillance tours, visual inspections, fence checks, yard audits, and emergency responses.
  • Complete shift reports, incident documentation, and shipment logs.
  • Maintain comprehensive asset protection records.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in security operations.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Certifications as mandated by state regulations where applicable.
