The Licensed Pharmacy Professional is responsible for reviewing medication orders against patient profiles, adhering to established pharmacy policies and standards. This position requires a commitment to leadership, customer service, and professional development.

- Implementing pharmacy processes that cater to the specific medication needs of patients, ensuring safety and patient rights.

- Demonstrating punctuality and effective time management to optimize pharmacy operations.
- Participating in professional development opportunities and maintaining current licensure requirements.

- Exhibiting professionalism and effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Being adaptable to staffing needs and changes in assignments.
- Maintaining a positive demeanor and effectively resolving conflicts.

- Supervising Pharmacy Assistants as required.

Education & Experience Requirements
Must be a graduate from an accredited pharmacy school with at least a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Current registration in New York is required, along with successful completion of orientation programs as per pharmacy policies.
Core Competencies
Ability to establish effective communication, demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical calculations, maintain department competencies, and fulfill continuing education requirements for licensure. Must exhibit professionalism and composure under pressure.
Physical and Mental Demands
This role may involve exposure to chemicals and requires the ability to perform tasks that necessitate manual dexterity and concentration for extended periods. The position demands effective communication skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Primary Population Served
The primary focus of this role is to serve the patient population by ensuring safe and effective medication management.
