A leading financial services firm, Tandym Group, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Operations Specialist to join their team in Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cash flows and handle clearing and settlements.
  • Assist with daily reconciliations, monthly close packages, and annual financial statement preparation.
  • Interact with prime brokers, custodians, fund administrators, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support the Investor Relations and Legal/Compliance teams.
  • Help integrate new accounting and compliance systems.
  • Participate in the month-end close process, including financials, investor statements, and NAV.
  • Contribute to various internal reports, such as Performance, Valuation, Risk, and more.
  • Assist with year-end audit and tax reporting requirements, including 1099s and K1s.
  • Ensure data integrity across systems and reports.
  • Oversee fee calculations and track fund and employee expenses.
  • Support regulatory reporting, including ADV, Form PF, and FATCA.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Profit & Loss, Cash Reconciliations, Settlements, NAVs, and more.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and research skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
