Job Overview

Kids Above All is looking for a dedicated Child Welfare Administrative Assistant to support our mission in enhancing the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Child Welfare Case Managers by performing a variety of clerical tasks related to child welfare services.
  • Coordinate and schedule essential appointments, including medical visits, family interactions, and team meetings, ensuring timely follow-ups with all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate referrals to additional programs, service providers, and legal entities, while aiding in resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct interviews with clients and their families, documenting findings that may influence care plans related to health, finance, and social services.
  • Provide administrative support, including general office tasks, case documentation entry, data compilation, and meeting coordination with clients and families.
  • Inform clients about available child welfare services and resources, offering guidance and referrals to community support.
  • Support case management efforts by participating in client meetings and coordinating necessary services such as childcare and medical assistance.
  • Advocate for clients to help them access required services, maintaining communication among clients, service providers, and family members.
  • Manage documentation for billing purposes, ensuring all receipts and necessary paperwork are secured.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of six months experience in general office clerical work; experience in a social services setting is preferred.
  • High school diploma is required.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Access to a working, insured vehicle.
