Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bus Person to join our dining team at Landry's. As a Bus Person, you will play a critical role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Table Maintenance: Clean and reset tables in accordance with established procedures and sanitation guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Perform customer service duties as assigned, including beverage and plate service.
  • Communication: Communicate with host/hostess for seating needs and any guest service issues.
  • Supply Management: Perform various stock supply duties to maintain par levels of all equipment and dining supplies.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, and smoke.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate and understand directions in English.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.
  • Mobility: Ability to effectively and efficiently move around the dining room area.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to carry trays, retrieve supplies, lift racks of dishes and glasses weighing up to 50 pounds, and move carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
Qualifications

The skills and abilities necessary for this position are typically acquired through one year of on-the-job training or related experience.
