Physician - Emergency Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team in the Marshall Islands. As a Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and treatment in a variety of settings, including medical care clinics and small medical hospitals.
Responsibilities- Treat patients in medical care clinics and small medical hospitals to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
- Request necessary tests and follow-up visits, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Coordinate with local hospitals to determine local capabilities, coordinate admission, monitor, and arrange final disposition.
- Stabilize patients and coordinate evacuation to the medevac center as needed.
- Provide a US standard of care for our patient care/treatment model.
- Maintain the highest regard for patient dignity and observe the precepts of the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights for patients.
- Document care delivered and follow-up care required.
- Attend and participate in meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain a specific level of knowledge of new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.
- Completed an undergraduate program, medical school (M.D. or D.O), Internship, and Residency program.
- Valid unrestricted medical license in at least 1 state, territory, or commonwealth of the U.S. and will at a minimum be board eligible.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in specialty.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- All Healthcare Providers and medical support staff must have a recent clinical experience in patient care for a least 6 months out of the past year.
- Must hold and maintain board certification as defined in the scope referenced above.
- Must hold a current and unrestricted US State Medical License.
- Must have and maintain current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA License.
- Must have a valid US passport.
- Must have current clinical experience in the last 6 months with direct patient care as an attending Physician.
- Requires a favorable security background check and drug screen.
- Must sign an International Assignment Agreement (IAA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the IAA.
- Must be current in all required certifications.
- Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
- Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the Acuity Medical Management Systems software.
