Job Overview

Auria is seeking a full-time Junior Systems Administrator to enhance our operational capabilities.

This position is designed for candidates at an entry-level, ideal for those eager to travel and grow within our organization.

Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate operational frameworks, develop support strategies, implement solutions, and provide advanced support for Local Area Network (LAN), Base Area Network (BAN), and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems across diverse platforms.
  • Establish system support requirements by analyzing customer business processes and assessing available Enterprise Services (ES) and vendor capabilities.
  • Assist project teams in deploying new or upgraded systems and synchronize project activities with support teams.
  • Draft plans that facilitate the implementation of modifications.
  • Engage in system support design and performance assessment reviews.
  • Provide guidance on distributed network computing challenges.
  • Oversee and uphold security and integrity standards and protocols.
  • Support the evaluation, testing, and recommendation of hardware, software, and network configurations based on client needs.
  • Mentor colleagues in the application of emerging operational support technologies.
  • Examine user requirements and data to identify trends and resolve performance challenges.
  • Manage and authorize updates to site administration documentation.
  • Stay informed about new operational support technologies and industry developments.
  • Propose suitable price/performance enhancement opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel to various contractor locations in the local area, approximately 2.5-3 weeks per month (expenses covered, weekends off).
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
  • Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level I Certification.
  • Active Secret Clearance is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification.
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification.
  • Operating System (OS)/Application Certification.
