Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team in a Maternal Newborn Break Relief role. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders and provide continuity of care for patients
  • Assess patient condition and provide safety, comfort, and privacy at all times
  • Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, sedation, and sterile technique as needed
  • Provide comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to prepare for discharge
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Florida Nursing License
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in PACU or ICU (emergency room experience considered)
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
  • Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
  • Excellent teaching, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
