As a Cardiovascular Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care in the Cath Lab. This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus and shift differentials.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate comprehensive patient care activities within the Heart Center Cath Lab.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for cardiology patients.
- Provide expert education and advocacy for patients, acting as a mentor and role model for support staff.
- Engage in cross-training across all areas of the Heart Center.
Applicants must possess a current state RN license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing institution. Certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers and ACLS is required upon hire. A solid understanding of clinical nursing procedures, cardiovascular disease processes, and pharmacological interventions is essential.
