POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Senior Assembler/Tester, you will be responsible for the precise and efficient assembly and testing of a range of moderately complex products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely delivery schedules. This role may involve performing lockwiring and final detailing tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute assembly and testing functions utilizing mechanical skills and various tools in a manufacturing setting.
  • Set up and calibrate testing equipment for diverse products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Verify test stand accuracy and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired results.
  • Conduct tests using both manual and computerized data acquisition systems, interpreting and documenting results accurately.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify issues identified during testing phases.
  • Perform diagnostic teardown and reassembly, assessing component suitability.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies that meet product specifications, adhering to customer and industry standards.
  • Interpret technical documents such as blueprints and engineering orders to guide assembly processes.
  • Actively engage in lean initiatives, identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to communicate product challenges and work progress.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and FOD-free practices.
  • Assist in mentoring and training junior team members.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and calibrated according to established schedules.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in assembly and testing within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • A strong understanding of semi-complex products, including those with electronic components and dual systems.
  • The ability to research and solve problems effectively, considering multiple variables.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

COMPENSATION:
$32.00 per hour

SCHEDULE:
8-hour shifts
