About the Role

HammerHead Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager Lead to join our client's team on one of their upcoming multifamily construction projects in South Florida. This is a lucrative project with a budget in excess of $10 million.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the coordination of subcontractors, communicating with clients, architects, and design professionals. Additionally, they will assist in distributing project planning and coordination, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. They will also provide support to the Project Manager and other members of the project team to ensure successful project completion.

The Construction Project Manager Lead will lead the managing of project documentation and facilitate/participate in project meetings. They will also document changes in budget or scope during the execution of the contract.

  • Assist with the planning and coordination of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Collaborate with the project team, including the Project Manager (PM), subcontractors, vendors, and clients, to ensure that project objectives are met.
  • Prepare and submit project submittals, including assistance in scopes of work, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders, to the appropriate parties for review and approval.
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues and provide input on design and construction details.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that construction work is being performed in compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the PM and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with the procurement of materials, equipment, and services needed for the project.
  • Analyze project data, such as budgets, schedules, and resource usage, to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on key decisions.
  • Provide support to the PM and other members of the project team as needed to ensure successful project completion.
  • Coordinate with other members of the project team to ensure that all project activities are performed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation, including daily logs, material delivery records, and as-built drawings.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly experienced individual with at least 4 years of verifiable experience as a residential construction PE on similar projects. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge and understanding of construction and associated trades.

  • Proficiency with ProCore.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of local and state building codes and regulations.
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and office equipment.
  • Understanding of customer service and ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and efficiently manage time.
Benefits
