Job Title: Mechanic

Ranger Energy Services is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a variety of engines and diesel engines used to power our fleet trucks, tractor trailers, and tankers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform annual inspections on trucks, trailers, and pickups to ensure they are in safe and road-worthy condition.
  • Perform repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services to keep our fleet running smoothly.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
  • Conduct DOT inspections to ensure our fleet meets all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes and initiate or assign repairs.
  • Estimate time on vehicle repairs and complete requisitions for new parts.
  • Perform all work within Standard Repair Times to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and conduct safety checks on vehicles, removing unsafe vehicles from service.
  • Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times, DOT reporting, etc.
  • Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of relevant work experience.
  • Clean driving record, no DUIs in the last 5 years.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be self-motivated and customer service-oriented while being an effective team player.
  • Ability to be flexible and shift priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment.
