We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Ryder in Midland, TX.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventative maintenance on heavy duty vehicles, including oil changes, brake and tire work.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers.
- Replace defective components as instructed and perform facility maintenance duties.
- Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints and utilize key functions of Shop Management System.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred.
- Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred.
- Average weekly pay: $1160.00.
- Hourly pay: $29.00 per hour.
- Quarterly bonus: up to $500 every quarter.
- Annual merit pay increases every year.
- On-the-job paid training.

- 12 weeks of paid maternity leave.
