Job Summary

Noble Casing Inc is seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for dispatching oil and water trucks to service assignments and relaying communications to crews and other field personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to customer requests for services via telephone.
  • Dispatch drivers and crews to servicing assignments, taking into account factors such as trip length, freight requirements, and customer preferences.
  • Assign vehicles to drivers based on factors such as trip length, purpose, and customer requirements.
  • Issue keys, record sheets, and credentials to drivers.
  • Record time of departure, destination, cargo, and expected time of return for each trip.
  • Follow up with drivers and crews to ensure successful and timely arrival, investigating any issues or delays.
  • Direct driver activities via two-way radio.
  • Communicate with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed, or other issues.
  • Maintain records of mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses.
  • Establish and optimize service or delivery routes.
  • Prepare and submit time reports and other records.
  • Communicate with customers regarding problems and outline available services.
  • Compute quantities of materials required and quote prices for services.
  • Refer customer inquiries regarding production problems or available services to sales personnel.
  • Compile lists of available vehicles.
  • Issue equipment to drivers.
  • Assign helpers to drivers.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Compensation

Noble Casing Inc offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $80,000 per year.
