The Construction Project Leader is responsible for guiding, managing, and coordinating the comprehensive oversight of the project and team, in accordance with the total scope of services as outlined in each project's contractual agreements, to achieve the project's financial goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive cost efficiencies through process enhancements
- Promote and support the utilization of various Buildimpetus initiatives and technologies
- Oversee owner billings and project scheduling from initiation to completion, optimizing processes to meet targets in safety, budget, schedule, quality control, and client satisfaction
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the project through thorough engagement with the documentation
- Execute action items to meet specified objectives and KPIs, delegating tasks as necessary
- Understand and enforce contractual obligations
- Effectively facilitate subcontractor kickoff meetings and coordinate among subcontractors for optimized performance
- Mentor, develop, and retain a high-performing project team
- Uphold brand standards
- Proactively manage the experiences of clients, employees, and subcontractors
- Continuously reinforce core values and the company manifesto, leading by example
- Lead the implementation and compliance of quality control plans
- Actively participate in industry associations
- Focus on details while setting the project's direction
- Ensure the use of enabling technologies and workflows
- Monitor the financial performance of the project proactively
- Analyze risks and take early action to mitigate them
- Report on progress regarding stated performance targets and KPIs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering
- 6+ years of experience in a construction firm
- Exceptional relationship-building, listening, and communication skills
- Ability to foster and support team morale
- In-depth knowledge of construction forecasting, cost management, scheduling, estimating, procurement, and accounting principles
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules
- Capability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems
