Job Summary:

Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will work under the direction of a radiologist to perform high-quality MRI scans using advanced imaging equipment. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform MRI scans following established protocols and guidelines
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient information and scan results
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
* Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements:

* Graduate from an accredited program in radiologic technology with additional training in MRI scanning
* 1 year of experience in MRI scanning or a related field
* Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensure by the State of New York

Working Conditions:

* Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and safety
* May be required to lift or move heavy equipment or patients
* Exposure to radiation and other hazardous materials may be present
