About Us:
At Home Therapies, a leading organization in the therapy sector with over three decades of expertise, is on the lookout for a dedicated full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to become part of our team. Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited institution with an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance recognized by the APTA.
- Possesses a current license and/or registration as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the applicable state.
Responsibilities:
- Delivers comprehensive patient care under the guidance of a Physical Therapist in accordance with state practice regulations.
- Assists the Physical Therapist in identifying suitable patients and referring them for rehabilitation as necessary.
- Records patient progress in weekly notes and secures the co-signature of the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Ensures that medical orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
- Completes all required documentation as specified and in line with state regulations.
