Sales Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction in our assigned market territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase sales and profitability within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales and customer service.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet growth objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize mutual growth and profitability objectives for our company and dealer customers.
- Plan and execute business development initiatives, including sales process optimization, networking, and reporting.
- Perform other job functions as directed by management, including dealer audits and collateral recovery actions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of Business-To-Business (B2B) Territory Sales experience (Automotive or Financial Service industry) with a proven sales record
- Familiarity with Automotive Auctions
- Cold Calling experience (Drive-By or Meet)
- Territory Planning experience
- Experience setting goals to achieve agreed-upon monthly quotas
- Experience with a base salary plus a variable commission-based compensation program
- A proven business development professional with a drive for results. Makes decisions and commits to a course of action.
- Must have experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales management software
- Excellent listening and verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally in a collaborative environment with a diverse group of internal and external contacts.
- Must have a valid state-issued driver's license
- Ability to travel 2+ hours from home base, and occasional overnight stays
- Good Credit (based on credit check)
