Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Orthopedic Surgery team at Upstate University Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in orthopedic care and be licensed/registered in New York State.
Key qualifications include:
- NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required
- NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice
- NPI number and Medicare Enrollment with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) required
- Initial certification must be present or obtained within 6 months of hire
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
Preferred qualifications include:
- Internal candidates who are not eligible for Medicare Enrollment, but are otherwise qualified, may be considered for this position
- Current Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification or will obtain within first month of employment
Please note that salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business. The salary range depicted is based on full time, 1.0 FTE and would be prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE.
