Retail In-Store Branch Manager

As a Retail In-Store Assistant Branch Manager at Michigan First Credit Union, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members while building relationships with them. You will serve as a motivational leader, share your expertise in lending, investments, and other banking products and services with members, potential members, and your team. You will also provide stellar service to Credit Union members, manage the details, teach and inspire your teammates, share our services, research, find better ways, lend a hand, and crunch the numbers.

- Provide stellar service to Credit Union members.
- Manage the details, including scheduling staff, assigning duties and priorities in accordance with Credit Union policies, principles, and procedures.
- Teach and inspire your teammates, setting the tone for branch success.
- Share our services with in-store customers, evaluating their financial needs and seeing where our products fit in.
- Research and make recommendations for new, improved, or expanded products and services based on feedback from store customers.
- Find better ways to increase material, machine, and team member efficiency.
- Lend a hand to the Branch Manager, assisting them with completing other duties as assigned.
- Crunch the numbers, overseeing the reporting and analysis of all transactions, goals, and activities.
- An associate's degree or two years of equivalent leadership experience with a bank or credit union.
- Thorough knowledge of lending processes and experience with financial institution products and services.
- Outgoing, personable candidates who truly love people and can engage strangers in conversation about our services.
- Critical thinking skills, including creative and innovative problem identification and resolution skills.
- Coaching experience, including evaluating and making sound decisions on sales, service, and other skill levels of team members.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and early evenings.
- Top-notch communication skills, whether interacting in-person or through email.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Cool, calm, and collected personalities, with the ability to multi-task and be flexible.
