Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Downtown MLK. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our breakfast buffet, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and break down the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are well-stocked and presented in an attractive manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the buffet area, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and serve breakfast items, including food preparation and presentation.
  • Restock bar, replenish pantry, clean counters, tables, utensils, and kitchen at the end of shift.
  • Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitization of tables, stations, and service areas.
  • Obtain feedback, and effectively resolve customer problems and complaints.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures.
  • Dependable transportation available.
