Clinical Support Services Manager

Job Description: The Clinical Support Services Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Behavioral Health Department. This individual will be responsible for supervising clinical and administrative support personnel, developing and implementing operational policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare operations and a proven track record of success in supervising teams and improving efficiency. They will be responsible for collaborating with the finance department to manage patient billing and insurance claims, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train clinical and administrative support personnel to ensure excellent patient care and services.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including productivity and statistical data, to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with the finance department to manage patient billing and insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as HIPAA and Joint Commission.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or business.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare or a related field, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
