Your role encompasses the preparation, assembly, and quality inspection of prosthetic components, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards. You will engage with advanced materials and technologies, contributing to the development of innovative prosthetic solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to specific guidelines outlined in standardized documentation and procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive assembly records in accordance with established documentation standards.
- Prepare components for the assembly of prosthetic devices.
- Execute the assembly of prosthetic components following prescribed procedures.
- Conduct finishing and inspection of products in readiness for distribution.
- Prepare sub-assemblies for subsequent manufacturing processes.
- Inspect, repair, and rework prosthetic components as necessary.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Operate in a technically demanding setting with strict compliance to quality control protocols.
- Utilize tools, computers, and power equipment, alongside manual tasks in a mechanical environment.
- Assist the Quality department during investigations and root cause analyses.
- Understand and follow manufacturing processes as detailed in written procedures.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and spatial reasoning abilities, with effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent manual dexterity for the precise handling of small components.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on producing high-quality work.
- Demonstrated work ethic and proactive approach to completing tasks.
- Able to work independently while also taking direction when necessary.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Ability to adapt swiftly to significant changes in production demands.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 35 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing and working on a computer.
