Job Title: Registered Nurse Weekend Nights

Shaker for ChristianaCare Direct is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our 3B General Medical Unit.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on the 3B General Medical Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including communicating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Monitor patients' conditions, identifying and reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License.
  • BSN or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire date.
  • At least one year of experience in acute care or sub-acute care.
  • BLS required.
