Position Overview
The Finance Operations Manager role provides an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the expansion of diverse business ventures. Our organization specializes in asphalt technology and preservation, production, roadway analytics, and property investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements internal controls and protocols for financial transactions and budget formulation.
- Oversees monthly closing processes, including accruals, expense amortization, and asset depreciation.
- Records intercompany transactions and eliminations, manages sales tax, inventory, and depletion.
- Collaborates with the CFO to prepare business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Assists the CFO in generating periodic financial statements, ensuring compliance with established accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Advises the CFO on financial strategies and policies for both short- and long-term objectives.
- Conducts financial analyses focusing on capital investments and pricing strategies.
- Ensures adherence to local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the CFO.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and VBA is essential.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or information technology is advantageous.
$60,000 - $70,000 per year
