Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to prior authorization inquiries and resolve formulary and benefit concerns using appropriate resources.
- Accurately process member prescriptions and prior authorizations through various software systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Evaluate and process prior authorization requests from healthcare providers and members for medications not typically covered under the member's prescription plan.
- Address and resolve issues and complaints promptly.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Handle incoming phone requests and collect member information to facilitate Pharmacist consultations.
- Prioritize safety in the workplace and communicate any safety concerns to leadership.
Additional Information:
- Job Type: Contract position
- Schedule: Day shift.
- Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour
*Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and relevant credentials.
