Job Overview

Pride Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in our client's healthcare facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with a prestigious healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to prior authorization inquiries and resolve formulary and benefit concerns using appropriate resources.
  • Accurately process member prescriptions and prior authorizations through various software systems, ensuring data integrity.
  • Evaluate and process prior authorization requests from healthcare providers and members for medications not typically covered under the member's prescription plan.
  • Address and resolve issues and complaints promptly.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Handle incoming phone requests and collect member information to facilitate Pharmacist consultations.
  • Prioritize safety in the workplace and communicate any safety concerns to leadership.

Additional Information:

  • Job Type: Contract position
  • Schedule: Day shift.
  • Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour

*Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and relevant credentials.
