About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Jewelry Professor to join our faculty team. As a key member of our academic community, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of jewelry artists and designers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in jewelry design, fabrication, and theory
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement assessment and evaluation methods
  • Participate in departmental and institutional service activities
Requirements
  • Terminal degree in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
  • Proven teaching experience and expertise in jewelry design and fabrication
  • Strong understanding of jewelry industry standards and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching experience at the collegiate level
  • Experience with jewelry casting, stone setting, and other advanced techniques
  • Knowledge of jewelry industry software and technologies
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative curriculum and programs
