Inpatient Psychiatrist

Northwell Health Physician Partners is seeking a highly motivated Board Certified/Board Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team at Phelps Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills to support a 22-bed 28-day substance use rehabilitation unit. Addiction training is preferred but not required.

This is a truly unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients. Our program provides individualized, goal-centered treatment by an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, behavioral health counselors, licensed social workers, a behavioral health assistant, and recreational therapists. All admissions to the Behavioral Rehabilitation Unit are clinically reviewed and coordinated through our admissions department. General medical care is provided to the patients by the Hospitalist service.
