Job Overview

Position: Restorative Care Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time

Location: Broad River Rehabilitation

Shift: Day Shift (flexible start time) - Monday through Saturday

Role Summary: The Restorative Care Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in delivering restorative nursing care and services tailored to the individual needs of residents, as outlined in their assessment and care plans. This position may also require acting as a Rehabilitation Technician to ensure effective delivery of rehabilitative therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately document all restorative care entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts in a clear and detailed manner.
  • Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly documentation in alignment with restorative program standards, under the supervision of the Rehab Manager or RN-CCC.
  • Collaborate closely with therapists and RN-CCC to set restorative nursing objectives and interventions for each resident's care plan.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols while performing all duties.
  • Assist in optimizing the abilities and skills of residents under the guidance of the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Support licensed personnel in providing patient care and transporting residents as needed.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness of therapy equipment and work areas.
  • Stay informed about changes in patient conditions and programs, and communicate these to licensed staff.
  • Foster strong relationships with professional staff and maintain positive interactions with patients and their families.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all company, patient, and client information.
  • Follow the dress code appropriate for the work environment.
  • Comply with the patient's Bill of Rights.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a current CNA certification and a passion for working in skilled rehabilitation therapy. Availability for Monday through Saturday shifts is essential.

Requirements:

  • Current CNA certification in Tennessee
  • Recent physical examination and/or clearance from communicable diseases as mandated by state regulations
