The role involves accurately processing orders and transactions received in person or via phone. Providing exemplary customer service is essential. Ensure all products meet quality standards and assist the restaurant by fulfilling various workstation responsibilities. Adhere to uniform, appearance, and operational standards, along with compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Process telephone orders efficiently.
- Handle sensitive customer information with discretion.
- Manage credit transactions effectively.
- Deliver high-quality customer service through positive interactions, whether in person or on the phone.
- Collaborate with team members, supporting each other by being punctual, assisting at different workstations, and completing closing duties, including cleaning.
- Operate and maintain all equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Perform various tasks, including preparing ingredients, making quality products, and taking orders.
- Accurately perform basic math functions and make correct monetary change.
- Utilize verbal, written, and telephone skills to process orders efficiently.
- Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage and workspaces, and complete necessary inventory paperwork.
Most tasks are performed while standing, with walking generally limited to short distances. Lifting of bulk product deliveries is required, with weights up to 50 pounds. Team members must be able to carry items of varying weights and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, and hand-eye coordination.
Work EnvironmentTeam members may experience varying weather conditions while performing outside tasks. In-store temperatures can fluctuate, and there may be exposure to food odors and dust. Safety measures must be adhered to when working with hot surfaces and sharp tools.
Additional InformationApplicants must be at least 16 years old, possess basic math skills, and be available for scheduled or unscheduled shifts, including nights and weekends. Cross-training in various workstation duties is expected. A Food Handler's Permit is required.
