About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing Associate II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing insurance claims and billing, working closely with our AR & Billing leadership teams to ensure seamless execution of our billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Verify patient eligibility with secondary insurance companies and process claims accordingly.
  • Bill supplemental insurances, including Medicaid states, on paper and online.
  • Manage the billing queue and investigate and update the system with all information received from secondary insurance companies.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed notes are maintained in our company system.
  • Adapt quickly to frequent process changes and improvements.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience with insurance billing and processing claims.
  • 1 year experience with Medicare claims and Medicare and private insurance verification.
  • Knowledge of insurance portals and familiarity with medical and/or insurance terms or practices.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn all areas of collections specialization.
  • Proficiency in basic math and business calculations.
  • Working knowledge of computer/data entry with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Basic level of MS Office proficiency.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

Pay ranges may vary depending on location. Actual compensation depends on education, experience, and relevant skills. In addition, benefits include:
