Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform strategic objectives into actionable plans through defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and departmental strategies.
  • Collaborate with essential stakeholders to develop forward-thinking technology roadmaps and innovation frameworks.
  • Oversee the technical architecture domain and manage the technology lifecycle across various stages: Hold, Assess, Trial, Adopt, and Retire.
  • Mentor and cultivate the next generation of technical leaders within the organization.
  • Ensure the creation, monitoring, and enhancement of all ISO processes relevant to the architecture domain.
  • Engage with all levels of the sales organization and business stakeholders.
  • Champion Continuous Delivery and DevOps practices.
  • Work closely with Information Security teams to enhance security measures for cloud initiatives.
  • Provide transparency through well-defined metrics, automation, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Design the architectures necessary for executing large-scale, complex cross-functional projects transitioning to cloud environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience as a Java architect or technical lead in system development.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading teams in architecting and designing solutions.
  • Strong understanding of various software development methodologies, including Agile, RUP, and Waterfall.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud-native application development.
  • Expertise in federated authentication and authorization systems such as SAML, JWT, and OAuth2.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Agile development methodologies and the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
  • Expertise in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), API-centric architecture, and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles.
  • Ability to create architectural diagrams and user flows using modeling software like Visio or Lucid Chart.

Compensation and Benefits:

S&P Global offers a competitive base salary range for this position, with final compensation determined by geographic location, experience, skill set, and qualifications. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan and additional benefits.
