Job Overview

American Fruits & Flavors is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Supervisor - Manufacturing to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory agency requirements and maintains a positive work atmosphere by fostering good relationships with those inside and outside the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide internal regulatory support and compliance guidance regarding products and intended end use.
  • Evaluate and provide interpretation or guidance to staff on next steps when supplier documentation is incomplete or unclear.
  • Maintain the integrity of raw material substantiation databases and review regulatory and technical documents from suppliers for compliance with company requirements.
  • Review regulations and supplier documents to determine International Compliance for raw materials and maintain this information in the compliance database.
  • Verify International compliance data entered by RA Specialists to ensure database integrity.
  • Review formulas and technical data for compliance with applicable regulations, customer requirements, and industry guidelines.
  • Generate draft documents to support ingredient registration for import to various foreign countries and respond to customs agents' requests for information.
  • Communicate approved information to customers, certification agencies, customs, or regulatory agencies according to company guidelines.
  • Liaise with appropriate individuals within the regulatory, EHS, and quality departments for information exchange and proactive handling of product safety/regulatory issues.
